Lost at Sea Sharp
You stranded on an island, can you survive and escape from it? Collect resources, craft items and tools, gather other resources with these tools, eat, sleep, dig, terraform, build and try to finish the game by building a boat to escape the island.
Made for the GoedWare Game Jam #14 with the theme "Everything is a Resource". The theme made me think of a survival game where you can interact with everything right away and I always wanted to make one so I used that opportunity. This is my first first person game made in Unity.
Features a day night system, dynamic terrain, height based ambient sounds, waves, wind moving all foliage and many other custom effects like water with waves. Most shaders are newly written or were improved during this 10 day jam.
I ran into a lot of issues, mostly with Unity being extra weird, so not every planed feature made it and it lacks polish as usual. Several systems that worked for a whole week literally broke on the last day...
