Made for the second Neuro Game Jam with the theme "Remnants of the Past" which doesn't give that much to work with... Story here: The totally ancient Evelin has awoken and must be stopped... Totally a remnant from the past for realsies...

"Fire Water Game": This game was supposed to have an interesting elemental reaction, team, equipment and skill based JRPG like combat system with various effects that encourage specific skill rotations. I had no time to properly plan, test and implement that so I went with my first rather basic idea which is probably very unbalanced and seems overly complicated.

Originally I wanted many campaign like "stages" where you can upgrade your drones after each fight and change your team to combine various buffs, debuffs and so on but there was no time so I only made one fight in four difficulties... I also wanted different enemies that give you a somewhat different challenge so that you can't just always use the same team...

I don't know if all four difficulties are beatable. Had no time for lengthy playtesting and balancing.

By far my biggest Unity project yet and I had to learn a lot in these three days. Better gameplay would have taken a lot of planning and testing so I focused on other things like nice effects, having proper menus, music and sound effects. Stuff that can be quickly rushed.

There is a Credits.txt file in both .zip's btw. with informations about where I got what from.

29 hours into the game jam I originally had given up because I had no idea how to get good gameplay with so little time to design it. I paused for like 12 hours and tried coming up with another game idea but then I just continued making effects and it kinda became too good looking to not submit.
